Company Profile Clear Blue Sky Design™ LLC (CBS) combines proven design expertise with operational experience to deliver ready-to-sell product lines for the toy and gift wholesale market. This newly formed joint venture of two industry veterans, Dan Gilbert and Gail DaMert, utilizes their 40 plus years of experience to create innovative concepts, perfect the manufacturing process and deliver high quality product to distributors on a factory FOB basis. Dan Gilbert, a California-based nature artist and graphic designer, has created hundreds of products for the toy, gift, home and apparel markets. He is best known for his award-winning Triazzle™ puzzle series with over 6 million units sold. Gilbert’s products have been licensed to companies such as MegaBrands, Ravensburger, University Games, DaMert Company, Toysmith, Great American Puzzle Factory and others. He brings nearly two decades of product development success and over 30 years of experience in most facets of design and art direction. Dan Gilbert's and DaMert Company products have won numerous awards for over a decade.
Gail Patton DaMert, a California-based business consultant, was co-owner and CEO of DaMert Company from 1989 until its acquisition in 2002. Under her leadership, over 250 innovative and proprietary toy and gift products were brought to market and sold in over 30 countries. DaMert brings her extensive background as an aerospace systems engineer to focus on operational details, and her most recent five years experience as a neuromarketing research consultant to focus on bringing the latest developments in brain science for businesses and consumers. Marketing and Distribution Clear Blue Sky Design LLC is seeking world-wide partners for marketing and distribution of its product lines. CBS provides all aspects of product development to include design, manufacturing and packaging. We deliver final product to distributors on a factory FOB basis. Distributors will be responsible for marketing and sales to include trade shows, catalog and advertising presentations, and sales force personnel. CBS will maintain a website to provide information and consumer support for our products and to feature our distribution partners. Products Our products bear the mark of an award-winning veteran designer who pays special attention to their visual appeal and excitement. Clear Blue Sky Design’s four initial product lines are innovative brain teaser puzzles, a growing category in both the specialty and mass markets. CrissCross™, Plexle™ and MixPix™ use wood construction for added value and durability and are laminated with vivid full color graphics.
